Abstract :

As like Agriculture which is considered as Backbone of Indian Economy, Teacher and his Teaching is always considered as Backbone for Developing India’s Tomorrow’s Leaders and Creating Good Citizens/Society. Teaching is Universaly considered as Divineful and a Teacher who teaches is always considered as Superior, Powerful and Determining Force in a Society / Nation. ATeacher is hence considered as a SECOND PARENT, as a child spends most of his/her valuable time during his/her childhood, teenage etc with his/her teacher next to their parents. Due to the above mentioned vital responsibility of teachers, which would in turn play a vital role not only in an individual’s personal life but also on a entire society, person who wants to choose teaching as his or her career is required to possess certain qualities in general and specific, must be aware about the essential roles and functions to be played by him as a Teacher .This article deals in detail about the “various roles of a Teacher”, the “most valuable qualities to become a successful teacher”, the “Roles for Teacher Leaders” etc. Also efforts have been taken by us to bring out the optimum justification to the chosen topic.
